Mahjongg was a popular game that was imported from China, it became so popular amongst the American people that it started outselling the radio. People would pay chinese-americans to teach them the 'proper' way of mahjongg. A gentleman named alvin Kelly created this new came and still currently hold the record for flagpole sitting. This is where a person would sit on top a flag pole and stay there for as long as they could. Alvin sat on the flagpole for 49 days straight.
