Television and Radio
The development of television and radio served as outlets for people to take part in distracting themselves from the outside world. They could use these items to fully understand the dimensions of fame and celebrity, both in which were becoming increasingly popular during the 1920's. The growth of films and radio helped to satisfy the desire to be a part of the glory and folly of fame during the rise and fall of each celebrity. The radio and the movies were two of the major factors that helped make the 1920's a time when people had a lot more choices to entertain themselves. With the amount of choices that this group of people had during the 20's led to a society that was focused on having fun because of their desire to always be entertained. With television and radio this helped the people in the country develop similar cultures to the ones in the City. By the spread of city ideas to the country this helped convince traditionalists in the country that the cities were ruining American Culture and Society.
